2. What personal data we process

This website uses cookies for web analytics and advertising measurement, described below, in addition to data you provide when you contact us directly. No account registration or online payment takes place on this site.

Analytics & advertising cookies

• Google Analytics (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland) — measures site usage (pages visited, time on site, approximate location, device and browser type) to help us understand how the site is used. Sets cookies and transfers your IP address to Google.
• Google Ads conversion tracking (Google Ireland Limited) — measures whether visitors who arrive via our Google Ads campaigns go on to contact us, so we can judge whether advertising spend is effective. Sets cookies and transfers your IP address to Google.

You can opt out of Google Analytics using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, control ad personalisation via Google Ads Settings, or block cookies generally in your browser settings. Google's own policy: policies.google.com/privacy.

Personal data is also processed when you actively contact us:

• Email enquiries — when you click an "Email Behrooz" link your local email client opens and you choose what data to send. We then process the data you submit (name, email address, message content, any details you include) to respond.
• WhatsApp / phone — when you message via WhatsApp or call, we receive your phone number and message content. We use this only to respond and to plan your trip.

3. Legal basis

Legal basis for processing your enquiry is GDPR Art. 6 (1) (b) — processing necessary for pre-contractual or contractual measures at your request — and Art. 6 (1) (a) — your consent given by initiating contact. Legal basis for analytics and advertising cookies is Art. 6 (1) (f) — our legitimate interest in understanding site usage and measuring advertising effectiveness — which you can object to at any time using the opt-out links above.

4. Retention period

Enquiry data is retained as long as needed to handle your request. After completion of any flying programme, data may be retained for tax and accounting purposes for up to 10 years per Portuguese tax law. Analytics data is retained by Google according to its own retention settings. You can request earlier deletion at any time.

5. Third-party services that may transfer technical data

• YouTube videos — provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Videos are only loaded after you click the play button (lite-embed). On click, YouTube may receive your IP address and set cookies according to their privacy policy. We use the privacy-enhanced youtube-nocookie.com domain to minimise data transfer. Policy: policies.google.com/privacy
• Google Fonts — typefaces are loaded from Google's CDN when the page renders. Your IP address is transferred to Google. Policy as above.
• Instagram & YouTube social links — clicking these takes you to the external service, where the respective platform's privacy terms apply.

7. Right to lodge a complaint

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. The Portuguese authority is the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD), Rua de São Bento 148, 1200-821 Lisboa — cnpd.pt. Visitors from other EU countries may also contact their local supervisory authority.
