Alternative dispute resolution
In the event of a consumer dispute that cannot be resolved directly with us, you may refer the matter to the Centro de Arbitragem de Conflitos de Consumo de Lisboa (CACCL) — Rua dos Douradores 116, 2.º, 1100-207 Lisboa — centroarbitragemlisboa.pt, the consumer arbitration centre with territorial jurisdiction over Sesimbra, per Lei n.º 144/2015. You may also submit a complaint via the Livro de Reclamações Eletrónico platform (see footer).
Reservation
No deposit or advance payment is required to reserve a place. Reservations can be made by WhatsApp message or email to the contact details above. Places are held on a first-come, first-served basis and are confirmed personally by Behrooz Jafarzadeh.
Payment
Payment is made directly to Behrooz Jafarzadeh, operating as Fly with Behrooz. No third-party booking platforms, online travel agencies or intermediaries are involved. Payment details are provided by Behrooz upon confirmation of the reservation.
Because paragliding depends entirely on weather, payment is handled flexibly rather than as a single fixed rule. Depending on the programme and the forecast, Behrooz may request payment before the tour begins, or may wait until after flying has taken place so that payment reflects what was actually flown. For multi-day programmes, if weather limits the number of flyable days — for example, a 7-day package that only allows 5 flyable days — payment is adjusted to the days actually flown.
On any day where the planned site is not flyable, the full day rate is not charged; only reasonable administrative and transport costs may apply. Behrooz knows every flying site in Portugal and will always put together a plan to get pilots flying somewhere, regardless of conditions at the original location. This flexible approach means clients pay for the flying they actually receive, not a fixed rate charged regardless of the weather.
Cancellation
Free cancellation is available on all programmes and services offered by Fly with Behrooz, including coastal soaring, cross-country tours, tandem flights and skill courses. If payment has already been made ahead of the tour, cancellation is free of charge in full — nothing is deducted, and the full amount is refunded. To cancel, the client must send a WhatsApp message or email to the contact details above.
Right of withdrawal
Under Decreto-Lei n.º 24/2014 (distance and off-premises contracts), consumers ordinarily have a 14-day statutory right of withdrawal for contracts concluded at a distance. This right does not apply to bookings for our flying programmes, since they are leisure services performed on a specific date or period, exempt under Article 17(1)(k) of that law. This exemption does not affect the free cancellation policy described above, which we offer voluntarily regardless of the statutory exemption.
